You’ll find us in the heart of south Belfast’s historic Queen’s Quarter. Our neighbourhood is the most diverse geographical area in Northern Ireland, and it’s brimming with artistic and cultural offerings.
The nearby Botanic Gardens are home to one of the earliest examples of a curvilinear cast iron glasshouse, plus a listed Victorian-era Tropical Ravine. You’ll also find the Ulster Museum in the gardens’ grounds, where you can view everything from dinosaur bones to an interactive exhibition charting a history of The Troubles.
Botanic Avenue features an eclectic variety of shops, cafes and restaurants, plus No Alibis Bookshop, one of Belfast’s longest-established independent book sellers.
As well as the Crescent Arts Centre, the cultural landscape of the Queen’s Quarter includes the Queen’s Film Theatre, Northern Ireland’s leading independent cinema, the Naughton Gallery, one of Belfast’s most exciting visual arts spaces, and the Seamus Heaney Centre at Queens.
All this and more is right on the doorstep of the Crescent Arts Centre, so make sure to leave time to explore the area’s many attractions when you plan your visit!
