With Free Wifi available throughout the building, the café is the perfect spot for an informal meeting or to catch up on your emails while enjoying a coffee.
Opening Hours
During The Crescent Course and Workshop Term Time (aligned with school terms), the Cafe is open:
- Monday to Thursday 9am - 8pm
- Friday and Saturday 9am - 4pm
During non-term the cafe is often open:
- Monday to Friday, 9am - 4pm.

What else will you find in the Café area
- The Crescent's Little Library. A free community library where you can come along and borrow a book. Please feel free to leave any books too for others to enjoy.
- Our main exhibition space which changes quarterly.
- To entertain your little ones whilst you enjoy a coffee and natter, you will find colouring in books and crayons, as well as children books for the littlest of readers to enjoy.
- We also have highchairs available for use and there are baby changing facilities located in both our male and female toilets, offering a baby changing station, baby mat, free nappies and wipes.
- For those who may have noise sensitivity we offer free ear defenders and are happy to lower or turn off music if this is affecting your visit
So why not Pop in and enjoy a morning coffee and scone, or swing by for your lunch and enjoy their homemade soup. Grab a hot drink enroute to your class or simply sit back and watch the world go by from the beautiful bay windows.
