Worldbuilding for Sci-fi and Fantasy: Creative Writing Workshop

Creative Writing

Summer Workshop
A practical workshop for sci-fi and fantasy authors looking to create believable, immersive settings for their novels.

We'll look at the elements that go into building worlds that feel real, "lived-in", and an active part of your narrative.

We'll explore techniques for weaving worldbuilding into the fabric of your story, so you don't overwhelm readers with exposition, and we'll take inspiration from some of the best SFF authors and their work.

Suitable both for beginners and for writers with a bit more experience.
