Join artist Leah Davis for a fun and expressive workshop exploring drawing and painting.
Designed for young people aged 16–18 with an interest in the arts, this session offers a supportive space to experiment, develop skills, and freely express creative ideas.
The workshop will begin with engaging activities that introduce the basic principles of drawing and painting in an accessible and enjoyable way. As the session progresses, participants will be guided to create their own finished artwork, with support and encouragement throughout, to take home at the end of the day.
Materials are included in the price, though participants are also welcome to bring their own images, materials, or ideas to work from, making the experience personal and tailored to their individual interests.
About the tutor
Leah Davis is a Belfast born and based Artist. Since graduating from Belfast School Of art in 2021 with Ba (Hons) Fine art, Leah has exhibited in numerous locations alongside other artists as well as being chosen for prestigious commissions.
Working primarily in oils, Leah has a distinctive painting style combining a unique understanding of colour with a broad knowledge and study of the human form. Leah’s work often welcomes a captivating combination of a mastery of tone with elements of drawing along with pro active use of negative space that suggests a looseness and element of movement to many pieces.
