Sewing
Come along to The Crescent on a Saturday morning where you will find a group of like-minded people for a stitch and a natter as you help create a beautiful piece of artwork, which, once complete, will go on display in The Crescent.
In this series you will be working on a Appliqué Wall Hanging.
Using an Indian cut and fold technique to create pattern you will work on a small panel which will then be joined with others to make a larger piece of artwork. No experience is necessary, just an interest in hand sewing, as Linda will teach you the necessary stitches and techniques. This will also be a great chance for you to take a little time for yourself as you partake in this mindful and relaxing activity.
All materials will be provided, along with Tea, coffee and biscuits provided!
Stop in for as long or as little as you'd like. You can come to all or just a few of the sessions. So why not come along for a stitch and a natter at The Crescent this Autumn.
