Sashiko Coasters

Learn the Japanese art of Sashiko, carefully placed running stitches making patterns which have meaning.

You will stitch using a thick thread unto indigo dyed fabric giving the traditional look.

You will receive a pack with enough materials to make 4 coasters but you will probably only finish 1 or 2 in class.

Please bring some embroidery scissors to class.

About the Tutor

Linda has worked in the Antiques/Interior Decoration trade for over 30 years.

As a self taught Decorative Artist she has worked in homes throughout the UK, including some superior hotels.

She has a City & Guilds in Floristry and loves to grow her own flowers.

A life long love of sewing, patchwork and cross stitch has enabled her to gain excellent experience over the years.

She really enjoys teaching, sharing her knowledge and hopefully inspiring others to get creative.
