Explore the creative opportunities in creating your own journals from varying mediums of paper and found materials.
Make a journal as unique as you are and use it as a tool to record and reflect your thoughts, plans, emotions and ideas.
Learning basic book binding skills, we will build and expand our new journal, using unconventional and random materials limited only by your imagination.
Introductory materials supplied. Attendees should bring in a selection of scrap paper, newspapers, gift wrap, greetings cards, wallpaper samples, tags and labels, photos, magazines, flyers, brochures, maps, second hand books and other “junk” supplies to personalise their journal. You will also be creating our own junk Washi tape for decorating and finishing our journals so the more junk, the better!
