Creative Writing
This workshop will explore the work of three 19th century Northern Irish ghost story writers: Charlotte Riddell (Carrickfergus), Rosa Mulholland (Belfast) and Ethna Carbery (Ballymena). After engaging with the ghostly fiction of these important writers we will help the ghost story tradition live on through your own writing.
The tutor will lead you through creative exercises and support you to write your own ghost story during this three-hour workshop.
You'll be thinking about the themes of isolation, gender, fear and the supernatural.
