Tutor Bio

Greg Baptie with over thirty years experience in the floristry retail and corporate worlds, was born in Durban South Africa.

Over the years he has provided bespoke floral work for the likes of Nelson Mandela, Sir Elton John and Dame Shirley Bassey.

He founded the Durban School of Floristry and his teaching has seen him travel to Seychelles, Mauritius and many other African countries.

A few years back he swopped the Indian Ocean for the North Atlantic. He now resides in Ballycastle and is actively involved in Floral Art work throughout Northern Ireland, judging and giving workshops.

Greg is a hands on florist and tutor and has a passion to impart his knowledge to folk of all levels of experience, age and backgrounds.

His workshops are conducted in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, when the fun element of working with flowers becomes the focus.
