New Workshop

Songwriting may seem daunting, but what if there was a space to come together and play around with the little musical ideas that pop up in our heads. The plan is just that! We will spend a few hours together learning about the tips and tricks involved with songwriting, trying some creativity encouraging exercises, and working together to create some songs. It doesn't matter if you have never written a song before or you are a seasoned pro, you'll learn some new skills either way!
We will aim for you to leave this workshop with more knowledge of song structures, melody lines, and chord progression, along with some practical experience in lyric writing, creativity unlocking, and co-writing.
So, If you have ever had lyrics, melodies, or song formations floating around your head and would love the chance to explore what they could evolve into then this is the workshop for you.
About the Tutor
Megan has been singing professionally for over ten years. She has sang in various spaces such as The Grand Opera House, The Waterfront Hall, and The Ulster Hall, to name a few.
She has been teaching privately for a decade, and has experience in the film industry being a vocal coach on set with "Zoo" in 2017. Megan has musically directed in musical theatre spaces since she was 19 years old and after graduating from Queen's University with a Music Degree, she has went on to a musical career in the local churches around Belfast and Lisburn, working alongside many other musicians to develop musicality and singing.
Megan is a competent songwriter and often will sing covers or her own work in venues around Belfast.
