New Workshop
This workshop is suitable for beginners wanting to learn more about the art of DIY natural skincare.
Using locally harvested plants and other organic materials, you can expect to learn how to make your own plant infused oils which are the gateway to making any number of natural skincare products. Participants can expect to take home a couple of skincare products and will leave feeling inspired to make more at home!
All materials will be provided but please bring a notepad and pen to take notes.
Tutor Bio:
Leasha Hogan is a community folk herbalist based in Belfast and has been running workshops aimed at connecting people with the power of plants for several years.
Leasha is the founder of Grá Fiánta Herbal. Grá Fiánta means 'fierce love' in Irish, and it is this idea that motivates her work. Grá Fiánta exists to empower people and communities by making traditional knowledge of plant medicine accessible. Leasha's work is grounded in her local city ecosystem, and she works with plants, mostly so-called weeds, that are easily available to all.
