Purely Poetry Winter Slam!

Join Poetry NI and Crescent Arts Centre for our first ever Winter Poetry Slam!

We invite you to take the mic and share your work in front of a lively and appreciative audience, with first time entrants always welcome. Just like in our ever-popular Belfast Book Festival event, the Slam is open to poets of all styles and experiences.

Poets will be marked on composition and delivery as scored by our panel of judges.

First set up in February 2014, evolving from various separate ventures, Poetry NI is a multimedia, multi-platform showcase and resource provider for poets, showcasing great writing through new writing, publications, readings, open mics, sound releases, workshops and more.
