Late Night Art

Our current Late Night Art series has been curated by Conall McCauley! Conall is working with talented Befast-based artists to bring you a series of creative hands-on activities.

For February's Edition of Late Night Art, and in collaboration with Seedhead Arts, join us to Design your own Tag with local street artist FGB/Francois Got Buffed.

In this drop-in workshop, FGB will take you through the basics of creating your own graffiti tag design using paint pens, working with you to come up with a unique/personalised tag to take home with you!

This is a free event with all materials provided. As always, no previous experience or booking is required - but get down early to grab a spot! Come along and simply bring yourself, maybe a friend and pop in for a relaxed creative session.

FGB is a self-taught street artist currently based in Belfast, where he's been redecorating the city legally and otherwise for over two decades. His style is a visual mash-up of urban life, political edge, and whatever weird ideas kept him awake the night before. Drawing from pop art, street art, graffiti and skate culture, his work invites viewers to pause and reflect on the world around them. Whether on a wall or in a gallery, FGB continues to blur the line between public space and personal expression.

FGB is a frequent collaborator with Seedhead Arts and is a mainstay at their annual street art festival Hit the North, which returns this May!

Conall McCauley is a Belfast-based Artist, Filmmaker and Arts Coordinator. Conall has a BA in Film Studies from Queen's University Belfast and has worked throughout Ireland as a freelance sound artist, animator, arts festival coordinator and curator. Conall is the 2025/26 Late Night Art Curator at The Crescent Arts Centre, and is focused on workshop collaborations with community outreach organisations.

For over 10 years Late Night Art has run across the whole of Belfast on the first Thursday of every month with many galleries opening their doors for an evening celebration of the vibrant visual arts scene.
