Late Night Art
Our current Late Night Art series has been curated by Conall McCauley! Conall is working with talented Befast-based artists to bring you a series of creative hands-on activities.
For February's Edition of Late Night Art, and in collaboration with ArtsEkta, join us to try Traditional Indian Rangoli Drawing and Painting with Artist Archana Kadam.
Originally from India and now based in Northern Ireland for more than a decade, Archana is a Traditional Indian Art Specialist working as a freelance artist with ArtsEkta.
She primarily works in traditional Indian artforms such as Rangoli and has delivered workshops for major cultural events and initiatives including Belfast Mela, Community Relations programmes, and T:BUC activities. Archana is highly experienced in engaging children and young people through vibrant and accessible arts sessions that promote cultural diversity, respect, and shared understanding.
Drop-in and let Archana teach you the basics of Traditional Indian Rangoli drawing and painting techniques and by the end of the activity you will have your own unique Rangoli pattern to take home with you!
This is a free event with all materials provided. As always, no previous experience or booking is required - but get down early to grab a spot! Come along and simply bring yourself, maybe a friend and pop in for a relaxed creative session.
