Talk
Calling all women in Northern Ireland! Here’s a special event for you with writer, comedian, broadcaster and performance coach Viv Groskop who will join us in Belfast to deliver an exclusive event about public speaking, confidence and ambition.
She is the author of bestselling books: How to Own the Room: Women and the Art of Brilliant Speaking (Penguin) and Lift As You Climb: Women and the Art of Ambition (Penguin). Her award-nominated podcast How to Own the Room is the biggest public speaking podcast in the world.
Join us for this informal event which we hope will be fun and useful. The event format is subject to change, but likely to be as follows: Talk from Viv - 45 minutes; 20 minutes for questions; followed by time for networking and book-signing. Husk Cafe will be open serving hot drinks, scones and soup!
We don’t want finance to be a barrier to joining so this event is free to attend. If you are able to make a contribution (or work for an organisation that can contribute) that would be hugely appreciated, so we’ve applied a Pay What you Decide Model at check out.
Feel free to share with colleagues, collaborators and board members.
This event is presented in partnership: Crescent Arts Centre/Belfast Book Festival + thrive + Arts & Business NI + Women in Business.
