Belfast Guitar Festival 2025: Launch Night

Join us for the Launch of the Belfast Guitar Festival 2025. 

This special event, to mark the start of the Festival, see's Irish musicians Neil Ó Briain and John Tracey release their collaborative EP Ar Foluain (meaning “afloat”).

The 5-track project blends Irish folk and traditional music with acoustic instrumentation, recorded entirely by the duo in 4 days on Scotland’s Islay island. Featuring songs in Irish and English plus instrumental arrangements, the EP celebrates individual expression performed in harmony.

The event includes a 20-minute companion documentary filmed during recording, capturing the creative process and inspiring landscape. The Belfast event will premiere the documentary followed by live performances from both musicians—promising an unmissable evening of music and storytelling.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
