BBC Radio 4: Front Row - Live from The Crescent Arts Centre

Ahead of the Belfast Book Festival 2026, starting on Thursday 4 June, join us for the culmination in our series of Bookmark events.

We are delighted to be hosting a special edition of BBC Radio 4's Front Row, live from The Crescent...and you are invited to join us. 

Hosted by broadcaster Kirsty Wark, Front Row is live arts programme on the world of literature, film, media and music, and is broadcast each Monday - Thursday between 7.15 pm and 8pm. 

Kirsty will be in conversation with some of the Belfast Book Festival's literary line-up ahead of the festival. 

Some practical details: 

• Doors open at 6.15pm and close at 6.45pm.
• The programme will be broadcast live from 7.15 - 8.00pm.
• Entry is by advance registration only.
• Latecomers cannot be admitted.
• Recording and photography during the broadcast is not permitted.
