Have you always wanted to write a poem but been too intimidated to put pen to paper?
This 11-week course will introduce you to the key elements of a poem and help you form a sustainable writing practice so that you can keep writing whenever inspiration strikes.
You will start with the absolute basics and begin to explore how you can use language to form images that your readers won't forget, how you can use your daily lives to create beautiful details in your work, and be introduced to new techniques and poetic forms you can try writing in for the first time.
If you are just beginning your writing journey, this course will be a welcome space for experimentation and enthusiasm for all things poetry!
No class 6 October.
