Writing in the Eye of the Storm

Creative Writing

New Course

This 4-week creative writing course focuses on storms in literature, mythology, music and art.

You will explore ways of conveying the drama and impact of storms in writing, using a range of literary forms such as poetry, flash fiction, memoir, song lyrics and descriptive writing. Storms in literature can also represent personality attributes or reflect changes  in characters’ lives.

The course content will also include the effect of climate change on the weather in the form of hurricanes, snowstorms and tornadoes.
