Summer Intensive: Watercolour Step-by-Step Beginners

This week-long Summer course is an introduction to watercolour painting and a fun way to begin using the medium. It is especially for those who might feel unsure if they can do it or for those who want an easy way to start!

You will learn a variety of techniques and produce a small painting each session, under the step-by-step guidance of the tutor.

You need no experience of painting - just a willingness to have a go! 

A basic materials list will be provided prior to the course starting.

About the Tutor 

Beverley Healy is a freelance Artist with a BA Hons Fine Art; PgDip History of Art & Design.

She has been running workshops and classes in healthcare and community settings for over 25 years. This has incorporated working with craft media such as silk painting, mosaic, printmaking, collage and collaborating with other artists.

Her personal specialism is portraiture and imaginative painting, imbued with a distinct love of colour. She has won several National and International Awards and her work is held in public and private collections in Europe and America.

She recently published an art book on a personal theme of faith and promises and this has made its way around the world from Chile to Australia!
