Throughout this fun course, you will learn how to make stuffed toys but with a primitive folk art vibe.
The main focus will be on a ginger cat complete with a dress. Time permitting you will also make some smaller painted cats which are perfect for Halloween.
During the 7-week term, you will learn basic sewing and toy stuffing techniques as well as how to paint faces, and how to use tea and coffee stain for that aged country look.
About the Tutor
Linda has worked in the Antiques/Interior Decoration trade for over 30 years.
As a self taught Decorative Artist she has worked in homes throughout the UK, including some superior hotels.
She has a City & Guilds in Floristry and loves to grow her own flowers.
A life long love of sewing, patchwork and cross stitch has enabled her to gain excellent experience over the years.
She really enjoys teaching, sharing her knowledge and hopefully inspiring others to get creative.
