Traditional Irish Tin Whistle: Beginners

This class is ideal for adult learners with no previous experience — absolute beginners are very welcome.

We'll begin with the basics, learning how to hold the whistle and produce a clear tone, before gradually introducing a few simple and enjoyable tunes.

The focus is on building confidence in a relaxed, supportive environment where you can learn at your own pace and enjoy the process.

About the Tutor

Sinéad began her musical journey at the age of 7 with the McPeake School of Music in Belfast’s city centre. Now, twenty years later, she is a qualified and experienced teacher, holds a Diploma in Traditional Music from the London College of Music, and has spent more than ten years inspiring learners of all ages — from young children to adults in their eighties.

Her teaching reflects a deep passion for music and a belief that it’s never too late to learn a new skill or discover a love for music.
