Traditional Irish Tin Whistle: Beginners Continuation

Beginners' tin whistle will continue after the half term, building on what’s been learned — but newcomers are always welcome.

We all learn at different paces, and Sinéad will support you no matter where your learning journey begins.

This class is ideal for adult learners with no previous experience — absolute beginners are very welcome. We'll begin with the basics, learning how to hold the whistle and produce a clear tone, before gradually introducing a few simple and enjoyable tunes.

The focus is on building confidence in a relaxed, supportive environment where you can learn at your own pace and enjoy the process. 

About the Tutor

Sinéad began her musical journey at the age of 7 with the McPeake School of Music in Belfast’s city centre. Now, twenty years later, she is a qualified and experienced teacher, holds a Diploma in Traditional Music from the London College of Music, and has spent more than ten years inspiring learners of all ages — from young children to adults in their eighties.

Her teaching reflects a deep passion for music and a belief that it’s never too late to learn a new skill or discover a love for music.
