Creative Writing
In these challenging times, even the most prolific writers can be at a loss for words. The previous run of this course showed that pictures can encourage self-expression and overcome blocks to writing. Looking at pictures can help ideas to flow.
This live and interactive course, which is suitable for writers with all levels of experience, offers a series of images with guided writing prompts to engage the imagination and enable writers to express themselves.
You will also read some ekphrastic writing (literary responses to art), and reflect on the connections and differences between works of art and literature.
The course will take place on Google Classroom, with communication by email. Guidance for online learning will be given.
