This practical workshop will examine stage adaptations of novels and offer the chance to explore and discuss the differences and decisions involved in turning one medium into another.
'The stage has always cheerfully swiped whatever good stories were going' (Philip Pullman).
You will workshop extracts from plays adapted from Charles Dickens, Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte and also the RSC's 'Wolf Hall', from Hilary Mantell's 2009 Man Booker Prize-winning novel.
