Across 12-weeks you will learn the art of creating the illusion of violence for theatre with Swords, Knives and Unarmed combat.
Creating a realistic and safe fight for the stage is a necessity in theatre, to keep the actors safe with proper techniques and to entertain the audiences which will have them hanging at the edge of their seats wanting more.
About the Tutor
Philip Rafferty is a Stage Combat Instructor affiliated with the Academy of Performance Combat (APC) and Fight Director based in Belfast. He is currently teaching Stage Combat with Rose Bruford College of Acting in Belfast and has, in the past, done fight directing shows in the Lyric Theatre such as 'Good Vibrations' and 'Lie Low'.
