This course aims to improve your powers of expression and to help you gain confidence in speaking out in work situations and everyday life.
Through a variety of exercises and specially selected texts, the tutor will guide you and develop your ability to stand up in front of any group and speak with confidence and clarity.
This course provides a fun, supportive and friendly environment and has been running successfully at The Crescent for over ten years.
Rosie is employed by 'Politics Plus' as an 'Expert in Residence' at Stormont in Speech Delivery and Communication.
About the Tutor
After training for 3 years at drama school (RCS) Rosie worked for many years as a professional actor in Scotland, London and abroad.
She has a First Class Honours degree in English, was awarded an AHRC scholarship to pursue her MA in English (Medieval Studies) and has a PGCE in English and Drama from Warwick University.
Rosie facilitates Drama and Voice workshops in schools and for a range of organisations and she brings drama to young people, the elderly and those with learning disabilities.
She has taught on the QUB Drama degree for nine years.
Her various Drama classes have been running at The Crescent for 17 years.
