Spanish Conversation Club

This course is for those who have completed The Crescent's Spanish Upper-Intermediate course and would like to continue with a conversation group to cover various up to date news and topics of interest.

A book or film will be discussed through the weeks and games will be introduced in the sessions to practice your speaking in an interactive and fun way.

Material will be shared in a Padlet platform.

About the tutor

Ximena Arias-Manzano SFHEA, MAEd, PGCFHE, BAEd. 

Ximena is an academic, Staff Tutor, at the Open University’s School of Languages and Applied Linguistics; a teacher-trainer as well as a Spanish language teacher at Queen’s University in Belfast. At the OU she is involved in the design and production of course materials; co-author of Module material in Spanish and critical reader for material in Italian and Mandarin Chinese  

Her areas of research interests are on Multilingualism, Teaching languages through the medium of games and Teaching languages to adults with Dyslexia.
