Spanish: Beginners Continuation

This 8-week online course, taught using Zoom, is suitable for those who have finished the first block of The Crescent's 10-week Beginners Spanish course (or for false beginners) and would like to continue with their learning in a fun and interactive way.

The topics to be covered will include; telling the time, daily routines, leisure activities, likes and dislikes, describing people, talking about famous people and talking about health and illnesses.

About the tutor

Ximena Arias-Manzano SFHEA, MAEd, PGCFHE, BAEd. 

Ximena is an academic, Staff Tutor, at the Open University’s School of Languages and Applied Linguistics; a teacher-trainer as well as a Spanish language teacher at Queen’s University in Belfast. At the OU she is involved in the design and production of course materials; co-author of Module material in Spanish and critical reader for material in Italian and Mandarin Chinese  

Her areas of research interests are on Multilingualism, Teaching languages through the medium of games and Teaching languages to adults with Dyslexia.
