Singing as a soloist is very different to singing in a choir or as part of a group. As a soloist, there’s nowhere to hide on stage, and all eyes and ears of the audience are focused on you and your voice.
Solo singing gives us a wonderful opportunity to learn about ourselves and our instrument, what it is that we truly want to express, and how it is that we want to express it.
This course will offer solo singers the opportunity to explore their singing and performance skills in a supported environment, offering performance opportunities each week and an end-of-term concert.
Some singing experience and an interest in solo singing is necessary. All styles of singing are welcome.
