Throughout this 12-week course, you will learn the basic skills needed in order to sing with improved confidence and enjoyment.
You will learn vocal warm-ups and techniques that will improve all aspects of your voice and vocal confidence, and also learn how to avoid straining and damaging your voice.

About the Tutor
Shonagh studied both at Birmingham City University and University of Ulster Magee, where she specialised in classical vocal studies and performance.
With a Masters Degree in music and a Diploma in Music Theatre, Shonagh is also a passionate and enthusiastic vocal tutor at Belfast School of Performing Arts in Lisburn, and Causeway school of music in Coleraine.
Having performance experience in both opera and musical theatre productions, Shonagh played the role of Emma Carew in the 2013 Londonderry Music Society production of ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ and was awarded best female vocalist by the Association of Irish Musical Societies.
As an experienced stage performer, musician and teacher herself, Shonagh loves working with all genres of music and is always excited to teach and adapt her vocal techniques to whichever piece of music, a person of any age may wish to sing!
