Join us in the Crescent Cafe on a Saturday morning for our free Stitch and Natter sessions!
This Spring term, the sessions will be focusing on English Paper Piecing Patchwork. Over the weeks, you will use paper templates to learn this patchwork technique.
This course will last for 5 weeks; Stop in for as long or as little as you'd like. You can come to all or just a few of the sessions.
The technique isn't too tricky but a certain exactness is required. Do come along to practice a new skill together! It will be fun with lots of chat and tea drinking.
All materials will be provided (along with tea, coffee, and biscuits) but please bring your own small scissors to class.
The finished patchwork will be framed and displayed in The Crescent building.
About the Tutor
Linda has worked in the Antiques/Interior Decoration trade for over 30 years.
As a self-taught Decorative Artist, she has worked in homes throughout the UK, including some superior hotels.
She has a City & Guilds in Floristry and loves to grow her own flowers.
A lifelong love of sewing, patchwork and cross stitching has enabled her to gain excellent experience over the years.
She really enjoys teaching, sharing her knowledge, and hopefully inspiring others to get creative.
