Come along and join us to try a new craft that is absorbing and fun!
Punch needle or needle punch is a type of embroidery done using a special tool and looks a bit like a loopy rag rug in texture.
You can make pictures, bags, mats, and even rugs, depending on the size of your yarn and tool.
During this beginner's course, you will make a small Folk Art style picture of a chicken which could be later framed or made into a cushion.
The cost of this course includes all the materials that you require, which the tutor shall bring to the sessions.
About the Tutor
Linda has worked in the Antiques/Interior Decoration trade for over 30 years.
As a self taught Decorative Artist she has worked in homes throughout the UK, including some superior hotels.
She has a City & Guilds in Floristry and loves to grow her own flowers.
A life long love of sewing, patchwork and cross stitch has enabled her to gain excellent experience over the years.
She really enjoys teaching, sharing her knowledge and hopefully inspiring others to get creative.
