If you've always wanted to have a go at pottery then now is your chance!
With expert guidance you'll be making pots to be proud of in no time and having the best fun doing it.
Over the week-long Summer Intensive items such as fruit bowls, candleholders, decorative plant pots, picture frames and country cottages will be produced, as well as a working on the pottery wheel. Your items will be fired in the kiln by tutor Sean Lawlor and then decorated by you, so you can go home and say "look what I made!".
The focus of this course will be on hand-building with the opportunity to try-out a pottery wheel.
The course will run for 5 sessions, Monday to Friday, plus another Monday session;
5 x days Clay-Making: 1:30-4:30pm, Monday 11th August - Friday 15th August.
plus
1x Monday painting your pieces: Monday 25th August 1:30-4:30pm.
Included in the cost of the course is £50 worth of materials you will need for this course as well as the cost of kiln firing.

Sean Lawlor has been providing pottery classes in the city for 10 years. He has been booked and re-booked to provide courses for dozens of community groups all over NI and has a wide range of impressive items to teach all beginners and those who've had a go before. He looks forward to welcoming you to the course and introducing you to the therapeutic joy of pottery.
