If you've always wanted to have a go at pottery then now is your chance!

With expert guidance you'll be making pots to be proud of in no time and having the best fun doing it.

During this fun handbuilding course, you'll be making your own mug, fruit bowl, candleholder, garden gnome and door signs, as well as a go on the pottery wheel. Your items will be fired in the kiln by tutor Sean Lawlor and decorated by you.

This course will cover a range of handbuilding techniques and beautiful useful items, so you can go home and say "look what I made!"

The course will run for 10 Tuesday evenings plus 1 Saturday session;

12 x Tuesday evenings of Pottery: Tuesday 13 January to Tuesday 24 March

plus

1x Saturday painting your pieces: Saturday 28 March 12:15 - 2:15pm

Included in the cost of the course is £50 worth of materials you will need for this course as well as the cost of kiln firing.

About the tutor

Sean Lawlor has been providing pottery classes in the city for 10 years. He has been booked and re-booked to provide courses for dozens of community groups all over NI and has a wide range of impressive items to teach all beginners and those who've had a go before. He looks forward to welcoming you to the course and introducing you to the therapeutic joy of pottery.
