Poetry
I want to write about something but I don’t know how to begin…
This poem feels stuck…
How can I make this poem better?
In this poetry writing course, students will explore fresh ways into beginning new poems and develop skills in refining works-in-progress.
During classes, we will focus on elements crucial to the poem including voice, image, the line, rhythm. This will be done through a combination of generative writing exercises that you can take home together with a workshop discussion. The workshop will provide you with insightful and constructive feedback on how to develop your poem beyond the classroom.
There will be no session 13 May.
