This exciting, collaborative course will allow you to explore both drawing and crafting.
Over 7 weekly sessions, you will have the opportunity to learn about different two mediums from two of our talented tutors: Linda O’Kane and Patrick Hickey.
In the first 3 classes, you will practice a Still Life study under the lead of artist Patrick Hickey, examining drawing technique, shape and form.
Then, looking at the work you did in the first 3 classes, you will interpret your Still Life using fabric and thread: exploring sewing practice and developing your multi-disciplinary thinking.
For the Stil Life drawing session, please bring your preferred materials.
Fabrics and thread are provided but please bring scissors on weeks 4-7.
