Learn to Knit in the Round

Learn how to knit in the round to create seamless circular work with no need to stitch up at the end.

Knitting in the round can be done on both open ended needles and circular needles.

The magic loop method is a trick used to create knitting in the round on smaller items while still using a circular needle.

Materials will be provided for the course but students can bring down their own yarn if they have specific ones they want to create with.

About the tutor

Katie Harte is originally from Dublin but has been creating and teaching in Belfast for over 10 years. With a background in material science, she loves investigating materials and fibres.

She is currently a freelance knitter for Hope Macaulay while also working on her own designs in both sewing and knitting.
