Japanese Knot Bag

Make a beautiful handbag in a simple knot design, but made more complex by the layering and overlapping of fabrics in a 'boro' (Japanese mending) style.

It is done using a simple running stitch and the finished item will be machine stitched together.

All materials are provided but you will need to bring some scissors to the sessions. 

About the Tutor

Linda has worked in the Antiques/Interior Decoration trade for over 30 years.

As a self taught Decorative Artist she has worked in homes throughout the UK, including some superior hotels.

She has a City & Guilds in Floristry and loves to grow her own flowers.

A life long love of sewing, patchwork and cross stitch has enabled her to gain excellent experience over the years.

She really enjoys teaching, sharing her knowledge and hopefully inspiring others to get creative.
