About the Tutor
Betty is a Hatha Yoga Instructor having recently completed her 200 hour teacher training at Santosha School of Yoga, Lisburn. She is also qualified in Yin Yoga, and is a Shiatsu Practitioner using energy work, massage and Traditional Chinese Medicine as a holistic approach to physical, emotional and mental health. Her work is focussed on the Meridians, Qigong, breath-work and the balancing of Qi.
Betty has worked as a therapist for over 25 years, focussing on the body. She brings a wealth of knowledge and understand of how we all hold the pace of daily life as stress, tension and stiffness, in different areas of the body and mind. Her work is focussed on providing relief from these symptoms in a way that creates space for the body and mind to let go, repair and heal, which in turn allows for growth.
Betty runs a busy salon near Queens University and is excited to bring her unique form of energy to a yoga class. Teaching with warmth and compassion, she welcomes yoga students of all abilities.
