Hand Stitching: Colourful Appliqué Panel

This 6-week course is inspired by a vintage mola panel made in South America by the Kuna tribe.
This type of appliqué is done by cutting away layers to reveal colours underneath. It is a slow process but an enjoyable, mindful way to stitch.
All materials will be provided but please bring some sharp fabric scissors to each session.
No class 17 October.
About the Tutor
Linda has worked in the Antiques/Interior Decoration trade for over 30 years.
As a self taught Decorative Artist she has worked in homes throughout the UK, including some superior hotels. She has a City & Guilds in Floristry and loves to grow her own flowers.
A life long love of sewing, patchwork and cross stitch has enabled her to gain excellent experience over the years. She really enjoys teaching, sharing her knowledge and hopefully inspiring others to get creative.
