Hand Embroidery: Sampler Book

Using vintage linen as the pages of the book you will sample various types of hand stitching, patchwork, cross stitch and embroidery. These will make up into a concertina book to showcase the stitching and to store precious items such as old lace, buttons ribbon. A pretty keepsake of precious things and a reference for future projects. It could even be used as a needle case. All techniques will be taught and all materials will be provided. If you have anything you wish to include in your piece you could bring with you as well as some small scissors. 

Included in the cost of this course is all the materials you will need to embroider & bind your own fabric book!

Tutor Bio

Linda has worked in the Antiques/Interior Decoration trade for over 30 years.

As a self taught Decorative Artist she has worked in homes throughout the UK, including some superior hotels.

She has a City & Guilds in Floristry and loves to grow her own flowers.

A life long love of sewing, patchwork and cross stitch has enabled her to gain excellent experience over the years.

She really enjoys teaching, sharing her knowledge and hopefully inspiring others to get creative.
