Guitar: Beginners

Join us to learn your first chords and riffs with some technique-building exercises, and begin playing songs chosen by the tutor alongside students’ own choices.

The course is suitable for both acoustic and electric guitars. If bringing an electric guitar, please bring a small amplifier. 

About the Tutor

Matt Dowie is an experienced guitarist, composer and music lecturer. He has performed preformed professionally internationally across jazz, pop, rock, funk and msucial theatre. Matt is an experienced guitar tutor having taught in a variety of settings from higher education to 1-to-1 tuition.
