Guitar: Beginners Continuation

This course is for those who joined us for The Crescent's Guitar Beginner Course or those who have a basic understanding of playing the guitar and looking to continue their learning. 

You will expand upon the basics and develop both rhythm and lead guitar techniques. 

Relevant popular songs will be covered in tandem with techniques and exercises and some music theory will be explained to help you understand the topics covered. 

The course is suitable for both acoustic and electric guitars. If bringing an electric guitar, please bring a small amplifier. 

About the Tutor

Steve started playing the guitar at the age of 13 after hearing Jimi Hendrix.

Since then he has written, recorded and performed with many different bands and artists all over Ireland, experiencing a wide range of musical styles from folk to funk.

He has a first certificate in music/performing arts from Senior College, Dublin and currently plays guitar and sings with Belfast based Rock ‘n’ Roll 3-piece The Groundlings.
