Unfold into your weekend with a mindful journey through the body. Each week will focus on a different area of the body by exploring our relationship to nature and the elements.
Learn movements that unfold tension and holding so we can build physical and mental strength from a deeper foundation. Participants can expect a mindful breath led practice that ends with a restful relaxation.
All ages and abilities welcome
About the Tutor:
Orla Wallace has been teaching Yoga and Mindfulness in Belfast and abroad for almost two decades. Over that time she has created courses and workshops for Queens University Belfast and Stranmillis University College Belfast among others.
Orla started out with a BA in fine art in 2001. Since taking her first Yoga teacher training in 2006, she has done thousands of hours training in various Yoga and Mindfulness traditions, studying with traditional schools in India and more predominantly with teachers from the Scaravelli tradition. For the past 10 years, Angela Farmer has been her main Yoga teacher.
As a firm believer in learning through play and learning from nature Orla is passionate about how consistent practice can help us live happier, more embodied, fully engaged lives. Her Yoga classes are student centred and incorporate elements of Yoga philosophy. Her classes have been described as playful, mindful and creative. All ages and abilities are welcome.
