This course is part of tutor Linda O'Kane's embroidery series. Join us for one or both projects to develop your sewing and making skills in a fun and supportive space!
In this 6-week course, you will use wool threads on wool fabric you will stitch a beautiful Folk Art Design of flowers, foliage and birds in soft pinks and greens on a cream background. You will then make it up into a cosy hot water bottle cover to treasure.
The cost for this course includes all materials that will be provided but please bring some small scissors to class.
About the Tutor
Linda has worked in the Antiques/Interior Decoration trade for over 30 years.
As a self taught Decorative Artist she has worked in homes throughout the UK, including some superior hotels. She has a City & Guilds in Floristry and loves to grow her own flowers.
A life long love of sewing, patchwork and cross stitch has enabled her to gain excellent experience over the years. She really enjoys teaching, sharing her knowledge and hopefully inspiring others to get creative.
