Fabric Basket Making

Learn how to use up old clothing such as jeans to create a beautiful fabric basket.

The technique is simple; using blanket stitch but you will need to have a little dexterity in your hands to manipulate the fabric.

All materials will be provided for this course but please bring some small scissors to class.

Once you have learned this technique you can use it to recycle old clothes, linens, and much more, to beautiful and useful effect. 

About the Tutor

Linda has worked in the Antiques/Interior Decoration trade for over 30 years.

As a self taught Decorative Artist she has worked in homes throughout the UK, including some superior hotels.

She has a City & Guilds in Floristry and loves to grow her own flowers.

A life long love of sewing, patchwork and cross stitch has enabled her to gain excellent experience over the years.

She really enjoys teaching, sharing her knowledge and hopefully inspiring others to get creative.
