Exploring Colour in a Hand Sewn Book

Craft

New Course

During this 5 week term, you will learn how to make a concertina fabric book and how to fill it with meaningful colours and patterns.

You will discuss colour and its effects upon us and you will arrive at your own personal colour palette. You can use this book to express your feelings and emotions about the last 18 months or any topic or theme that is close to your heart.

Hand stitching enables us to take time for ourselves and enjoy the meditative process. You will learn many simple stitching techniques so you do not need to have previous sewing experience.

All materials will be provided but you will need to bring some fabric scissors to class.
