Through the perimeter of scenes from your favorite films and plays, The Actor's House will encourage you to experiment with voice, emotion, character and text. Within a supportive group, you can step out of your comfort zone, building confidence and most importantly having fun! Jenn create's a light, easy atmosphere for anyone who would be interested to begin acting. Her focus is on the doing, rather than the talking about doing. Even if you have never acted before, here is a great place to start! Get lost in the dialogue of When Harry Met Sally, The Graduate, Misery and Lost In Translation.
Jenn Murray is an Actor working in the Film, TV and Theatre industry for fifteen years. Credits include Brooklyn, Love and Friendship, Maleficent 2 Mistress of Evil, Sky Atlantic's The Lovers, BBC 1's Truckers, BBC 3 The Fades and the Off Broadway's Irish Rep Theatre's run of A Girl Is A Half Formed Thing, a one woman show in which Jenn was New York Time's Critic's Pick and nominated for Outer Critics Circle Best Solo Performance Award.
Jenn began The Actor's House in Brooklyn, New York. She is thrilled to build it in Belfast. Her goal is to bring people together, instil confidence, make friends, be creative, and forget your iPhone.

About the tutor
Nichola Bush is an Actor, Voice Over Artist, Lecturer and Teacher who trained at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, Broadway Dance Centre Birmingham City University (PGCE Drama) and RBC (Voice in Practice). She has worked and taught acting and voice across the UK and Ireland.
Select credits include: Listening BBC, Scar Tissue LFF Pick, Tryst BFI Short, Righteous Anger Blue/Orange, Hamlet and Measure for Measure The English Theatre, Rabbit Peacock Theatre.
A busy VO artist, Nichola was the voice for campaigns for NIjobfinder, Bank of Ireland, NI Tourist Board, and has most recently voiced a character for a international gaming franchise. She is also a visiting lecturer in various Higher Education establishments, directing and vocal coaching students about to enter the acting profession.
Nichola has a passion for passing on her love of acting, performance and transformation to others. You do not need to have any experience, just be willing to jump in.
