With this live and interactive course, learn the basics of hand-building and surface decoration with clay.
Using your hands and simple tools, you will learn lots of skills including the technique of coil, slab and pinch construction of the form along with decorating and designing skills to reflect your own personal character.

About the Tutor
Fang Zhao, as a ceramicist, seeks to communicate international ideals through sculpture and functional pottery.
Born in China, she studied Graphic design in China and also graduated with a first class honours in BA Hons Cera Jewel & Silver from the University of Ulster in 2019.
She has been involved in running Ceramics workshops for Townland Sculpture and various public art projects since 2008.
